錐体路は赤色で、腹側外側視床核への中央のループは青色、結び目の腕は緑色、聴覚路は黄色、側頭橋路（Türcksche束）は明るい茶色、前頭橋路（Arnoldsche束）は暗い茶色（固定）です。切断面（図J0863 (錐体交叉を通る脳幹の断面) -J0881 (小脳の中央と延髄を横断する断面)）は、その背側の縁が上を向くように均一に配置されています。
